REAP strives to link communities and their leaders to the wealth of information and resources available to make local community and economic development efforts succeed. REAP values an asset based approach to development that helps communities assess and utilize their own resources including local persons, groups, organizations, and businesses and then helps connect community leaders working on REAP projects to outside resources at the county, state, and federal level when needed. All of REAP's initiatives are built on partnerships and include connections to other resources. The Community Networking Workshops held periodically foster peer-to-peer learning by gathering REAP related groups and project leaders together to share success and challenges as they plan and implement their own projects.
